Narin “Dr. Joe” Apisarnthanarax, M.D., F.A.A.D., is a Board-certified Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Joe grew up locally in Clear Lake and graduated from St. John High School in Houston. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, and dermatology residency training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, one of the top NIH-funded programs in the country. He also conducted skin cancer research for 3 years at the prestigious M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and has been an author on over 20 publications and textbook chapters. Dr. Joe specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology with particular interests in skin cancers, psoriasis, and laser surgery, and is regarded as an expert on cutaneous lymphomas. He lives in Clear Lake with his wife and 3 young children.

Prapand “Dr. A” Apisarnthanarax, M.D., F.A.C.P., is a Board-certified Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is also board-certified in Dermatopathology. Dr. A graduated with his Bachelor’s degree at Chulalongkorn University and medical degree at Siriraj University, both prestigious universities in Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his Dermatology residency training at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. Dr. A trained in Dermatopathology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where he went on to serve on the faculty as an Associate Professor and as Director of Dermatopathology for 10 years. He established the current dermatology practice now known as Clear Lake Dermatology in 1981. Dr. A. has been an author on 25 publications throughout his career. He has particular interests in skin cancers and serves as the dermatopathologist for the practice.
